"The room didn’t lock properly and they send a waiter to fix a door which was a joke and the guy tried to blame the weather and movement in timber for the door not latching. Had to negotiate compensation as they said sorry can’t help we are fully booked. Charged 150 NOK for a baby cot which was a rip off and on top no lifts and we had to carry bags up 3 levels. They expect hotel guess to pay 170 NOK per day to park on street. Deceitful as non of that is mentioned in the description. Wouldn’t...

"In between ski season and summer season catering for bus tours and us. Bar and restaurant closed. Electronic check in so no human to ask questions. A little out of town but we enjoyed the walk. Cleaners tried to help with our questions and the breakfast staff apologized for the chaos left by the bus tour. I don’t recall their website mentioning that there would be no check in staff between April and June."

"Good location in the centre of Geilo. We had a two bed apartment with a lounge area, kitchen and bathroom. Very comfy bed. Downsides, you can't specify where in the block you want to be. Although we booked over 6 months ago, hoping for a view, we found ourselves on the ground floor looking over some sheds/shacks with very little view of the spectacular scenery. Also, obtaining the key relies on a mobile phone with access to the Internet as there is no person at a reception on site to help. "
