"Ok hotel. It is clean and staff is welcoming. However the hotel has nothing special. The pool is very cold and we could not swim in it due to its temperature despite very warm weather. The breakfast is not worth taking as it is not particularly tasteful. We were asked everyday if our our room needed to be done which was a bit odd. Not sure if the towels were indeed changed. "

"Super hotel a few minutes walk from the Cathedral. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the hotel itself is spotless. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and at 10 euros, cheaper than other breakfasts we had over the week in France. I would heartily recommend this hotel "

"Very handy stop 1 mile from motorway exit. Pool to cool off the family. Good size of room and bathroom with walk in shower. Food was exceptional for such a small place (@ 20 rooms). Set menu with 1/2/3 course options or à la carte. Breakfast has good choice of self service options, including hot dishes. Reception by owner and his wife as chef means they really are invested in your stay. Add this place to good stops on a drive to/from Spain."

"Unpleasant receptionist. Knocked at the door at 11h03 to ask when we leave when check out is at 11. No AC, no elevator. Spiders, ants, etc everywhere in the room"

"C'est un bungalow très bien équipé dans un camping; il n'y a pas de balcon ou patio mais une terrasse qui s'ouvre sur l'espace privé "virtuel " du bungalow. Il n'y a pas de clôture! Nous avions pris deux nuits et nous avons prolongé pour un séjour avec deux enfants en bas âge, pour visiter la Dordogne. La météo n'était pas au rendez-vous mais malgré la pluie et le vent , le séjour était top. Très bonne cuisine au restaurant à la hauteur des prestations du camping, avec un accueil sympathique . ...

"The area is beautiful and the building is very attractive. However, the corridors are gloomy and our bedroom, supposedly premium, can best be described as average. The swimming pool was clean and in good condition and there were plenty of comfortable sun loungers. We felt the room rate was higher than for comparable properties, particularly as breakfast was not included. Overall, rather disappointing."

Great value for money and the hotel is perfectly placed to discover the jewels of the Dordogne such as Perigueux and the cave paintings at Lascaux. The only slight issue is a bit of bliss from the road right behind the pool and the breakfast could have been better for the price. But great stay overall’ "
