"I was pleasantly surprised during our last visit to the Hotel. We used it as a halfway stop on the way back from Kimberly. The front-of-house was very friendly, good vibe in the restaurant/pub and the food was very good. One does have to realise it is a "vintage" hotel and if you would be so inclined, one could find fault everywhere. But I will definitely return again. The bedding was excellent and the bed massive! Overall it is clean, comfortable and friendly and that was good enough for me on...
"The rustic but luxurious hotel was amazing with nicely-sized room & bath. The patio was large & quiet. Common areas were spacious & food was excellent. The only complaint was the shower which was a continuous dribble of water rather than a stream."

The new owner of that establishment knew nothing of my booking and I had to find and pay for a night at another establishment which fortunately could accommodate me.
The money I paid you did not go to the new owner, but instead they suspect it went to the woman that was running the place before it was sold 4 YEARS AGO!!!! "
"Clean and adequate accomodation with a comfortable room and a lovely pool and bar area. There were no amenities in our room when we arrived, not even toilet paper but this was quickly sorted out by staff once we notified them. Wi fi didn’t work throughout the stay. The bathroom is small with a shower only but adequate for an overnight stay. The pool was lovely and clean and the garden well kept. All in all a good option for a quick stay on the Jhb to Cape journey"
