"Situated in village square with parking in front of hotel, access to our room on floor 2 was a bit of a climb, especially as tge temperature was in tge upper 30s! The ambience of the Excellent Evening meal in rear courtyard was somewhat spoilt by noisy children in adjoining garden using a swimming pool( understandable in thus heat ?)
Despite a fan being provided, temperature in room was quite uncomfortable. It really needed aircon because Opening window made traffic noise a problem.

"Many things were not acceptable in regards to our room. The windows did not open fully due to the curtains blocking them and it was stifling hot. and when we tried to manipulate them, we were afraid they would break.
The daily housekeeping was unacceptable - coffee cups were left dirty in the room, the bathroom didn't appear to have been cleaned at all, and in the bathroom the windows did not shut properly. The water from the shower went all over the floor. In the middle of our stay, we found a...
"Beautiful historic location with a very kind owner. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. We assumed that breakfast was included with the rate for the room, and discovered when we checked out that we owed €17 per person per breakfast."
