"We had a most enjoyable stay at Wittedrift Manor House, it was as good as a previous stay a year ago. Delicious breakfasts by Carol and Dorothy and overall a guest house in Tulbach that is highly recommended in view of its wonderful atmosphere, great location, friendly service and special "arty" ambience! "We stayed in a self catering cottage. The accommodation had everything we needed, lovely bath and fireplace. It is very cold in Tulbagh in mid-winter, but the bed had cosy blankets. This is a working farm, which was fun to explore with my young son. He enjoyed playing with the farm dogs!"

"We looooooved our stay at the Southern Belle, Bergsicht Cottage. By far the most private & secluded of all the cottages. We enjoyed the hot tub & the private deck, surrounded by only the sounds of nature. The fairy lights above the pool were very romantic. The cottage had everything we needed to relax & unwind. No TV which was fantastic - you come here to rest & unplug. We'll be back!"

"This is a beautiful place to stay, but a little out of the way for most travelers. It's approximately 90 minutes' drive from Cape Town and in the opposite direction of the Garden Route, which is the route most travelers tend to follow. But it's a perfect get-away if you live in Cape Town and want to spend a long weekend in a quiet and beautiful area. Hiking, biking, winetasting... We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the manor, but you need to go to the town of Tulbagh (12 kms away) for other...
