"Great location for exploring the area, very cofortable, clean, and spacious accomodation. Quite and restful, great beds and generous perfectly cooked breakfast. The Lady of the house was delightful, accomodating and went to any extent to make my stay wonderful. If I'd visit the area again hopefully I'll stay longer!"

"Lovely clean room No staff so check in involved emails and texts in the lead up to arriving. Tedious and unwelcome. Neighbour couldn't remember his door code so made a lot of noise trying to get in his room for about an hour in the middle of the night. Would have been easily resolved if there was a reception team. "We checked in extremely late, but there was desk staff , and the process was very quick. We were only in the hotel to sleep as we had a wedding nearby. We were in the newer building which is functional and clean. The rooms in the original building though looked amazing. Wood panelling everywhere and a real stately home vibe. Our package didn't include breakfast. Parking was plentiful. When we check out a lovely lady (I didn't get her name) gave us some amazing recommendations. I would like to say thank you to her. She recommended Dean Castle in Kilmarnock. We spent a wonderful few hours there. Thank you so much for your advice"

"Single room.I called it the tiny room with the tiny bed but it was perfect for one.The shower was unexpectedly big and bathroom spotless.Space to hang clothes.Tv.Blackout blindes. The bar was fun.Locals very friendly and helpful."
