"Hotel room served its purpose! Nothing over the top but a clean place to stay while visiting Orvieto. We did have a barking dog outside our room that was quite loud in the morning and later in the evening but that was the only issue we ran into. The staff were very polite and helpful during our stay!"

"Easy check in- they left the key on the counter for us even though we got there by 8pm. Casual approach. The next day we gave her our passport info and it was all very laid back. We had booked twin beds but we’re given a double bed, so that was unfortunate but there was no one there to ask for a change so we just had to share. It was clean and comfortable. "

"If you're looking for quiet and seclusion, this is a great spot. The indoor thermal pool was nice for a half hour or so soak. We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. I think there was a walking trail near the hotel, but it was rainy so we decided to drive 45 minutes to Saturnia to the public thermal cascade...fabulous (and free)!!!. We decided to have dinner at a lovely restaurant half way between Saturnia and the hotel, as it seemed too...

"Great little hotel in the old town section walkable to everything. Best to park in the main parking lot outside of the old town section and use the escalators to get up the the old town. It's about a 20 minute walk to the hotel so we left our suitcases in the the car and packed our backpack with everything we needed for the stay. Room was small but not cramped...keep in mind the building is hundreds of years old! Window had shutters blocking view of the small street but if you gently raise...

"It was strange arriving as nobody was there to greet us and all the doors were locked. We thought the hotel was closed because we could not understand why the doors were locked and all the lights were off. Finally after a few minutes we found a doorbell to which I man came scurrying out. He claimed he didnt have our reservation and we had to debate for 20 minutes because of the Italian to English language barrier. Nobodoy there could speak any english at all. So It was difficult.
