"You’re kidding me right? I drove 17 hours to get there in 20 minutes before pulling into the parking lot. The property called me and told me my reservation was canceled because they were overbooked. Their clerk told me what they do is cancel third-party reservations, i.e. Hotels.com, Expedia, etc., and accommodate people that walk in and are looking for a room because they will pay more money. They told me it’s not their problem and treated me like complete crap. They wouldn’t allow me to talk to a manager. Never again will I use all Holiday Inn and I’ve been IHG member for over 30 years"

"Room and hotel were great . My only complaint was the parking was limited and the lot seemed very tight to get in and out."

"Pros: The suite was clean. The space is large and roomy with plenty of blankets, and kitchen pans, appliances, and dishware. Check-in and out was easy and staff friendly. Location is very nice with a great view from all suites. Enjoyed the real wood fireplace. Bought some logs at local store and starter at Lowe's. Cons:The stove eye was unattached and did not work. There was no knob on the living room wall heater, luckily my husband had a tool we used to turn it up and down. The bathtub drained very slowly and I hate standing in bath water. "

"Veey clean and cozy! Love the cabin, I rated 4 stars as the check in instructions and website should be updated for off season. Our intro text talked about farm animals and then ended with "no animals at this time", same with the dinner Resturant, told to make reservations but then concludes with not available in off season. We were not upset but as constructive feedback to update the info for off season. Again we live the cabin and would happily come back!"

"Very courteous staff. The place is very dated but it's a good value for being so close to Beech Mtn (10 mins) and Sugar Mtn (25 mins) ski resorts. Room was well equipped with a mini kitchen and everything necessary to cook (Stove, pots and pans, boiler, toaster, cutlery, plates, bowls...) Quiet despite the proximity to the busy road, easy parking. Room is very dated and there were a couple of stink bugs I could have lived without."
