"Our group of 4 adults had a wonderful stay here. The location is excellent, close to shopping, restaurants and the other public onsens. There is a shuttle that you can take to visit the other onsens (free). The hotel’s onsite onsen was very nice as well..lots of amenities like shampoo and facial cleansers and creams to wash up before and after the onsen use. While the hotel is a little dated, the excellent service, comfy futons, and delicious Japanese style breakfasts and dinners make up for it....

"客室露天風呂は外から丸見えで、かなり気を使わなければならない。その対策としてビニール系カーテン等で視界を隠す配慮などされていましたが、思ったような効力はなかった。（風のせいでもありますが）。 あと、きちんと部屋に置かれている説明書を見れば解決しますが、お湯がでなくなる事があります。 ユーザー側が施設のちょっとした不自由に歩み寄らなければならない点はいくつかありましたが、概ね良かったです。"

"Lovely staff that helped us look up times for trains and buses to Takeda Castle Ruins. As well as helped us getting a taxi because apparently there’s only one out there 😅 It’s a 20 min walk on flat ground from the Wadayama station so be ready for that. Also the taxi from the hotel to Takeda Station was around 2800 yen just fyi"

"Very well maintained and nice stay. The family running the place is very kind, and provided us welcome tea and cookie upon checking in! The private open air onsen in the room we booked was amazing, at just the right temperature and automatically running and refilling. The location is perfect walking distance and in a central location to many of the public onsens and shops. Highly recommend!!"

"It was a nice experience staying at this property. The staff explained well as we arrived. There were no meals included during our stay. We asked if we can bring food into the room to eat. The answer was no, no food/meals can be brought in! The shuttle bus took us to the canal at 7pm. We found a place to eat dinner and then went to two very nice onsens recommended by the staff there! The shuttle bus came back to pick us up at 9pm. During our outing to the onsens in the evening, the futon beds...
