"We had a nice stay at the property. We were a little disappointed that we were given a room with 2 twin beds, after requesting 1 double bed. The rest of the room was great. Very spacious. The location was fantastic! Easily walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. Restaurants, sights, etc. Merida is a special place with special, friendly people! We loved our visit. "The hotel is well placed for travel south in Spain being just off the A66. The room was spacious and comfortable with a good en suite facility. Less good is the restaurant which doesn’t serve food until 8pm - not good after a day’s travelling. The choice of dishes is limited and the food is not sufficiently well cooked. "This “hotel” had an 8pm check-in time which left us waiting in the street below with our luggage for hours. It was exhausting and inconvenient and ruined our one night stay to Merida. I wish I had been better informed so I could have chosen another hotel. "
