"Because of the fab views of Robin Hoods bay. I took a punt and booked into this old hotel. From walking through the door I was blown away by how the communal areas have been modernised. Even though the staff were obviously busy, I suggest they quickly learn to be a little friendlier/ warm to guests (they weren't bad, just not engaging)."

"I thought this was a fabulous, up market hotel. The rooms were fabulous, the pool gorgeous in fact everything was great. The only thing that spoiled my stay was the breakfast. The breakfast menu was extensive, but only for cooked breakfast. I don't eat cooked breakfast. I asked for cereal and toast. I was given a small box of corn flakes (no choice) 2 slices of toast and a mini jar of marmalade for us both. My partner had a cooked breakfast and therefore no cereal. "The most welcoming place we’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we walked through the door to leaving we were made welcome. The room was beautiful, it was clean and warm and the views were amazing. Owen behind the bar was the loveliest person. He gave us lots of information where to go for the next day. Thank you Owen you really did make our stay fab. Really good location only five minutes drive from the railway station and minutes to the venue I was attending."

The owners were lovely and very accommodating to meet my early check-in request. Our experience of the weekend was lovely and look forward to planning our next visit. "
