"Reception staff friendly, room comfortable and close to restaurant where we had a delicious evening meal, and complimentary buffet breakfast. Could be quite noisy in the restaurant, as the room isn't that big. No lounge area to relax in. Didn't use the pool due to time constraints.

"Given the location, most of the clients of the hotel seem to be people in the mining industry, so the hotel doesn't have a "tourist" vibe. The town itself doesn't offer much more than for an overnight stop, although there is an interesting tour into a major iron mine on some days of the week. The breakfast was quite ample (have to keep miners well fed) and even included omelet on order."
"Described as a Deluxe unit with a 40in tv and secure parking in a gated area. None of these applied to our unit. The tv looked to have been replaced with a smaller one as one of the 2 our family used had the larger one but not my room. A place to sleep but the most over priced in our 3weeks of travel."
"Externally the property has old world charm, but the accomodation was very modern at the rear of the building. I asked for an Ocean View which was great, sadly it meant climbing 2 double flights of stairs wuth the luggage. Parking was under the property. A washer /dryer was available in the bathroom, we just didn't need it.
Lively bar/restaurant area with delicious food and cheerful attentive staff.
Close to the beach if you fancy a walk, and explore the modern town."
"Wir haben die das teuerste Zelt gebucht weil es das einzige mit Aircon ist. Und es hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Die Zelte heizen sich extrem auf wenn die Sonne morgens oder nachmittags auf die Seit

"Unfortunately our experience at Oasis at Newman was not a great one. The room was very small and there was an unpleasant odour in the room. The sheets were stained, the bed was tiny, the walls were very thin (we could hear noise through the walls), there was a scratch on the TV and there was no milk in the fridge (the staff were helpful when I went to ask for it, though). Considering how expensive the room was, we were left disappointed with the venue."
"The brochure was far more glamorous than the actual property. These were miners cabins, small as a caravan, old, well worn, bed pushed up against the wall so not readily accessible (unless you are extremely agile) the air conditioner was emitting a foul odour (Old and musty smell). We decided not to stay and the staff were really fabulous about our decision. I think also that the fact that the breakfast was included but was to be finished by 7am was a tad unfair to travellers although more...
"The building is old and dated, there was a broken electrical connection with exposed wires. The armrest of the couch was covered in dried up food that should have been removed when it was still moist, it looked like a toddler had eaten Weetbix or soggy toast on it. The TV was hard to use as could only find a small range of channels."
