"Great location for visiting the old town. Very smart, large, quiet room with an enormous, comfortable bed. The included buffet breakfast offered a wide range of items and was excellent. All the staff were charming, cheerful and helpful, the guy on Reception being particularly so. He provided very useful information on parking, restaurants and the best route out of town. There was a nice atmosphere in the hotel and we were very happy staying there. Moreover it was very good value."
"The hotel is not well maintained. Felt very old and very dirty. The bed was hard. Very loud hotel. Staff was not helpful. One was talking in to her phone making and hearing voice notes while attending costumers. Would not recommend staying here"
"A traditional Spanish hotel run by helpful staff. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The room had simple but adequate facilities. Plenty of safe parking not far off the motorway. The restaurant served excellent home cooked food at a great price. A great stop off point on a journey south. Highly recommended."
"Food was ok for the price. A bit dated, the floor tiles were lifting. No parking places, had to use a parking metre. WiFi didn't work at all in the room which spoilt our stay."
"Room was clean and quiet, staff were great, but hotel needs a bit of a face lift. Covered parking which was nice for motorcycles and a cafe bar which did the job. Overall, the place did the job for the price."
"This hotel is truly excellent. The conversion from 16th century palace to its current state has been done tastefully and to the highest standard. The hotel offers stunning views from the rooms and common areas. Our room was really comfortable and clean. The restaurant and food exceptional and memorable. Not to be overlooked are the staff. Friendly, professional, and genuinely nice people. Their pride in providing a high quality experience for their guests is very obvious. ...
"Estupendo todo! Habitación, el personal inmejorable super atentos en todo momento y trato muy familiar una maravilla! Y la piscina y la sauna un plus más! Volveré "
"When I arrived at 15.30, there was a sign on the door. I have a photo. It said "popped out for a minute" and left a phone number. I rang it. My phone recognised it as the correct number, but I kept getting the "not recognised" message. I waited 90 minutes, during which time I sent two emails. Unanswered. I went to another hotel. I will be extremely disappointed if my card is debited. Maybe there was some family crisis? But that the phone number was not recognised is a worry! I can't comment on...
