Hotel 101 - Manila
10/10 Excellent
"The location was very convenient, with easy access to everything we needed and plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room was clean and comfortable, which made our stay even better. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again."
City Garden Suites Manila
8/10 Good
"The location is very good in relation to the US Embassy and any activities around Intramuros. Use grab as neighborhood does not look very safe for walking any appreciable distance. The room was acceptable for the price, but dated, and the bed a little uncomfortable with very hard uncomfortable pillows. The front desk staff was friendly a d helpful, but each time we have been there they say they are upgrading us to a deluxe room with two beds i stead of the one we requested. I didn’t accept this time and they worked to find a deluxe room with one bed for us. If our room was deluxe the I probably would have been very unhappy on a standard room. Just feel maybe they are playing a little scam with “upgrades” to get rid of rooms that are harder to book, but who can say for certain. I’ve noticed several other hotels in my extensive travels “playing this same game”. “The free parking” is on the street, but the doorman works with you on some spaces they seem to block with cones, etc., and it has worked out each time we’ve been there so far. What makes this hotel a pretty good value in all is the free breakfast which is a well organized buffet with a number of good variable choices covering both Filipino style and American style breakfast desires - well done! Overall a good value."
