"Absolutely fab stay. Maybe a bit more expensive than it should be for what’s offered. Room was bigger than expected and very clean. Wardrobe was small but it did the job for one night. Lighting was quite poor for getting ready and the vanity mirror is far too high to be useful. Bathroom was small but the shower was big and very good pressure. Basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) are provided. Tea and coffee also provided in the room. No parking on-site but there is a car park...

"Excellent boutique hotel, brilliant location for St Andrews University and nearby attractions. Very accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble. Should be rated a 4*."

"Stay here for the first time last night and would definitely stay again if I was in the area. The staff very friendly, the room clean and the bed very comfortable"

"Dirty hotel. In need of upkeep. Carpets dirty. Very little in the way of amenities. Very basic breakfast."

"The Shower was not working and was not fix while we were there."

"Incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. Usual holiday inn offering but their kindness made it a special stay."

"When we arrived at the property we had not seen the message with the door access code, however within minutes the staff at the next door pub had provided us with the code, and we were very pleased with the room we were provided off the back of the main building. Quite modern, nice amenities and very quiet at night. The next morning we had some trouble with our coffee maker and the staff immediately provided us with fresh cups of coffee! We had a wonderful freshly cooked breakfast before leaving....

"Great breakfast included. Beautiful garden area. 5 minute walk to beach."

"Shower & bath tub had hairs in it, our booking stated a king bed but it was a double."

"Comfiest bed I ever slept on! Had the best sleep"
