"Exellent dinner buffet! Free shuttles (reserved) from Asahikawa and to Biei were very convenient. 3 mins walk to the famous Shirogane Bridge for great views. We didn't go to the Blue Pond due to transport logistics and lots of flying insects. Free water bottles and japanese sweets in room. Rooms were nice and clean. The only problem was our 2 rooms didn't have airconditioning, or rather, the central airconditioning is not effective at all. It was too hot to sleep for our 1 night stay in August...
"Des cheveux dans la douche, des taches sur la moquette et sur les tatamis, une chambre ultra chaude à l'arrivée car la clim n'avait pas été activée, l'entretien laisse à désirer. Il faudrait une grosse grosse rénovation et un nettoyage régulier."
"We are a family of four and stayed here for one night. The staff spoke limited English, but they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were able to communicate without any problems.
This is an older, traditional Japanese hotel. It’s not luxurious, but that’s exactly the kind of authentic experience we were looking for.
Guests can enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks, including beer, in the lounge, which was a wonderful touch.
My husband and I are heavily tattooed, and we were welcomed...
"The hotel was in bad condition, ants and other bugs everywhere in the room.
The staff used the fact that we were tired to overcharge us.
The facilities were 15 years older than they look in the pictures where they already look old."
