"Food was great, local eats, fish, paw, paw coconut etc.place needs some tlc, but for what you pay, its good value.Beaches are good if you walk along foreshore 5 mins.Snorkelling is excellent about 100 metres from shore behind large rock outcrop to the west of main lodge.Staff were very helpful and friendley."

"Beautiful location and wonderful food, incredibly friendly people with amazing service. Highly recommend this resort and the area, especially for snorkeling and scuba diving. There are TONS of places to do both around there. There is some minor construction going on right now at the beach during low tides, but it didn't impact us that much...definitely one of our favorite places in the Yasawas Islands."

"When you book they will tell you that this is not a resort but it is really good. Did not understand why they wrote that to me. You have a huge house just for yourself with amazing garden or beach view. You have a fan mosquito net and some dimmers to make the light less strong in case you want to have it more chill and romantic. The family is very friendly. Clean and tidy. "Ganz neues resort. Alle waren super freundlich und haben sich wirklich gekümmert. Es gab noch nicht so viele Gäste, was sehr angenehm war. Ich hatte einen Bungalow direkt am Strand mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Wunderschön. Das Essen war auch sehr gut, es gab viel Auswahl und alles extra auf Nachfrage. "We loved absolutely everything about Oarsman's Bay Lodge-the beach, accommodation, surroundings, activities, food and especially the staff. We went to 2 other islands afterwards, and realised how spoilt we'd been at OBL. It was everything we'd dreamed of, and a lot more. Thank you to ALL the staff, who were like family. We had the holiday of a lifetime, and will definitely be back. This is the place for the true Fiji experience. Cannot give a higher review or recommendation. Thanks team OBL."
