"I
The hotel is in a nice location close to the lake. The Freddie mercury statue and graffiti wall close by. The hotel is ok a little worn but a good price for Montreux. Parking is an issue and tough to find. there are garages but you will pay . I think this is true throughout cities in France and Switzerland."
"This property is close to the metro with a nice view of old town cathedral and lake Geneva sunset. We had a family room, it was quite spacious. The bed was also comfortable. The only thing is that we wish there could be some furniture for us to sit to enjoy a drink with the nice sunset view."
"The friendly and helpful staff and great breakfast are wonderful additions to the perfect central location of this 3-Star hotel. This trip they were ready for Holloween."
"Everything about it was bad. It was not clean. The toilet didn’t work properly. The good thing I can say it’s in a great area and for the price if you don’t mind to stay in a crappy little place for sleeping it’s perfect. I guess I could say that much stuff wasn’t very nice. The lady at the front not friendly at all not helpful at all didn’t want to be working. It seemed like to me."
"Ho soggiornato in questo hotel diverse volte e, come sempre, l’esperienza è stata ottima. Si trova in una posizione molto comoda rispetto al centro. Le camere sono pulite ed accoglienti. Il personale è cortese e sempre disponibile. Spero di poter tornare presto!"
"We really liked this hotel. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The hotel is well maintained and is in very good shape.
We ate at the Italian restaurant which is part of the hotel and our dinner was very good.
The hotel is centrally located and about 10 mins walk from the train station.
Beware the hotel does not have air conditioning. It wasn’t an issue for us as it was cool during the day and night.
Our room looked out to the streets so there was street noise at night. We...
"Staying at Hotel Masson was an absolute delight—choosing this historic gem over a standard chain hotel added so much character to our trip. Located in Veytaux just outside downtown Montreux and practically next door to the stunning Chillon Castle, it offers a wonderful way to experience the distinct charm of the region. Transportation is a breeze with the Veytaux-Chillon train and bus stations close by (just note that the walk up includes a steep hill, though we found Rue Bonivard to be a bit...
"Pros: the room was very clean
Cons: there is no air conditioning and air circulation at all and even with the window wide open and a fan going all night at the beginning of October, the room was sweltering.
Restaurant : took forever, food was raw and had to be sent back, they rebooked and apologized profusely and gave us a reduction on our bill."
