"This place far exceeded my expectations. The room was beautiful, fancy rain shower in the bathroom, large balcony overlooking the valley. It’s not a big place, maybe 12 rooms in total, so it was very quiet. The pool was lovely, also overlooking the valley. Breakfast was included and it was a great variety. Staff are very friendly and no language barrier for English. It’s up the hill about a 15 min walk from the train station and main area of the town. I highly recommend this as a place to stay...

"We just stayed one night before a planned weekend on our way for a wedding at a nearby vineyard. This hotel was everything we expected. Welcoming service, comfortable room and nice breakfast. For our evening meal, the restaurant around the corner was recommended by front desk. A unique family run restaurant. Not sure it goes by the old name, but very easy to get to. Great place to stay."

However, there were no food options or winery tours available when we were there? Not sure if this is normally how it is, but we always had to drive somewhere else to do anything. If you’re looking for a hotel that you can remain on the property then I don’t recommend this one, but if you’re looking for a quiet hotel and are okay with driving for tours/food then...
