"i went there with my family last week. I prioritised the property as per the reviews in Google and other sites about the property. I got 4.3 rating in almost every sites. But now I am thinking that if this hotel have the rating 4.3 in 5, what is the conditions of other hotels at Thanjavur. Cleanliness is very poor. "I was forced to pay again at the time of check in by the receptionist, even if I paid the charges online. I paid twice for the same service. Absolutely bitter & terrible experience. Will never ever book any hotels through Expedia. Better improve yourself. "

"Overall hotel was unclean and we found hair and stains on the bed. We had booked for two nights, but the hotel was dirty we left after one night even though we would lose the money for the second night. "

"Unfortunately we couldn’t stay at the emerald. The ac was broken and we were only informed once we arrived. We stayed at their other inn which was not similar to the emerald and what our expectations were. Disappointed in our stay. "

"This hotel is only 1 year old and it has all the modern comforts. It is very clean and staff were very professional and friendly. I will definitely recommend the hotel to others. It is well worth the stay. "

"I did book 2 King Size Beds which can accomodate 6 people. I want a big room and seprate for my kid to have a bed to sleep. They saw me checkin with 3 member family and gave me small room.Hotel Team started convincing me that it's attached 2 beds and nothing different. But when I booked and paid for a room 2 king size beds then Why would I settle for a small Room. Finally in wake of wasting my time I settled to a small room. But this wasnt right as per my rights and Hotel bad practice they followed. I wanted to highlight this."

"Booked through Expedia. Cannot believe they chose to list this property. I do not trust this platform anymore, cos it feels like any timbuk property of any quality can list themselves on Expedia for money. Am appalled to say the least. The least comfortable stay ever, you are paying premium prices for a motel like stay."
