"I arrived from CA after a long journey and was checked in immediately 3 hours ahead of normal time"

"It’s like stepping back into the 60s/70s. In its’ time it would have been the place to be. The decor is love it or hate it, but I found it a guilty pleasure. The bedroom was large, clean with a view of the lake and a balcony. The bed was really comfortable. Crisp, clean white bedding. I slept like a log. The carpet and curtains were faded and the shower head sent out water like a hose rather than a sprinkle. There was also a vent sending cool air into the room whether it was wanted or not. But...

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the Mansion House which had a lovely rustic feel but was also very clean and modern. The whole site had a lovely feel and the other building with the pool etc looked very modern and also had some nice cosy seating areas. We didn't use any facilities but had a look around and everything looked brand new! Would love to stay here again. "

"Clean room with ensuite. Bed very comfortable, with only one pillow was included per person. USB socket for charging by bed, along with a double plug. Only downside was that the mirror was in the bathroom and the plug for the hair dryer the other side of the bed."

"Comfortable stay"

"Clean room and a great breakfast. Didn’t like that a cheap rate meant you had to drag your bag a long distance up and down stairs. No elevator. Otherwise happy."

"This is the third time my partner and I have chosen to stay at the Market House. We like its convenient, central location, and clean, spacious, well-appointed rooms. Staff are always friendly and efficient, our check-in and check-out experiences have been seamless each time. The only disadvantage at the moment is the fact that the lift is under repair, which did not particularly inconvenience us, but could pose an issue for guests with mobility issues.
