I mean, the town IS from the 13th century, so gees, what can I expect, but I expected the room to be a little nicer. "Absolutely lovely hotel. Best one we stayed at in Italy - in retrospect, we wish we booked to stay here a second night. The location is quiet and isolated so stars are visible at night, plenty of parking, and breakfast is worth the 20 EURS, best breakfast options we had during our stay. Highly recommend, 10/10."
"Clean Rooms however there was no iron, no kettle to make coffee/tea the other hotels we stayed in had those amenities, The front desk was helpful but the ladies at the breakfast station were not, I guess that was because we were Americans mind you it was 8 of us and I saw personally how they treated their own people and refused to give us a cappuccino.
I enjoyed their Beautiful country of Italy but when I pay my money I expect good service."

"Alessandro met us upon arrival, what a lovely man. Our room was 2 floors with bed and bath upstairs. Plenty of room to relax and drink some wine. The larger hotel next door served an incredible dinner, one of the best we've had over a month in all of Italy! Breakfast was included and offered a good variety for all tastes. Highly recommend and is close to the train station for easy of travel into Florence without Florence hotel prices. We would definitely return."
"Our stay here was very lovely and we’d certainly return. The welcome and staff were all so happy and kind. Breakfast was great, views spectacular too. Location in San Gimignano favorable. We had a room with a terrace which was very nice with beautiful views. All amenities were great."
"excellent free breakfast. Great location in central old town. Safe with super nearby outdoor dining options. We couldn't find the fee parking and used the Duomo underground lot. $25 but v convenient. When we eventually found the free parking, realized it would have been v long steep uphill walk.
