"Lovely hotel a few bus stops from the station...Bus no 2. walkable, laundromat within walking distance and close enough to the river to walk along it in the evenings. Hotel room was great, clean and airy. Definitely recommend. We actually stayed for 3 extra nights and booked through the Salzburg Tourism board which included a 3 day Salzburg Card which allows free transportation on all trams, buses and regional trains and free entry to most museums, the furnicular, cable car to the Unterberg...

Transport links were brilliant with nearby stop for many of the buses that took you right across Salzburg - recommend the Salzburg card. Staff were super nice and managed to get us an early check-in but note that this is not always possible. We liaised directly with them through Whatsapp and they responded within minutes. Tried to call through the Hotels.com app- still didn’t work/not in service. After driving six hours to show up at your fairly expensive hotel to find it non-operational- very, very, very disappointing and incredibly frustrating! "

This is a sub standard compared to all hotels in the area at this price range. (I stayed at dozens already). Indisnt have breakfast (extra 16 euros). Because the hotel is located in a historic area, it is not accessible by car, so you have to walk a very short distance from the parking garage to the hotel. Manager was wonderful. "I adore Salzburg and the Salzkammergut Lakes region of Austria and this is my go to hotel whenever I'm in the area. Very friendly staff, a good breakfast buffet in the mornings and some excellent evening meals in the restaurant. It's approx 25 minutes to Salzburg by car, the lakes of Fuschlsee, Wolfgangsee, Mondsee and Hintersee are all less than half an hour away and don't miss Plötz Wasserfall which is a mile and a half from the hotel. Looking forward to my next visit!"
