"We arrived late, check-in was very easy, the cottage was adorable. View was lovely. Breakfast outstanding. My only regret is that we were on the Ring Road family vacation - and couldn't stay longer. Highly recommend."

"Stayed here for a night as a couple - absolutely LOVED it. Air in the bubble room was cool inside (despite it being sunny and warm outside). Linens were super high quality. No one else there; it was off-season (May). We only had four hours of darkness, but the trees provided shading and it was easy to get a great night sleep. Bathrooms & showers are < 1 minute walk away at the service hut. Free WiFi and coffee at the hut. Self check in. To address concerns we read in other reviews (1) Hot shower water is piped from thermal hot spring so, yes, it has smell of sulphur - but it’s part of the Golden Circle experience! (2) Lots of privacy provided by the trees (especially in spring and summer) and the scent of the pine and fir trees made the air so fresh. (3) Not a lot of food options nearby so pack your own breakfast (fridge in the service hut)."
