"We booked this hotel en route to Denmark. We were travelling with our three year old child also. The hotel was relatively easy to find, with plenty parking. We phoned ahead as we're running late - which turned out to be a wise thing as reception closes at 8pm. When we arrived, we found the staff to be friendly, they spoke English (which saved us from using our pigeon German and/or bad sign language) and we were given directions to our room which was in one of the annex buildings. "Very cute hotel in a small town. The hotel was small and easy to find and the rooms were big considering the size of the hotel. The only thing I would suggest is that if you’re not fluent in German this might not be the best place. The staff tried their best to communicate and answer questions and having a translation app on our phones helped. "

"Nice small family hotel in the middle of town, good breakfast and close to the harbour. the hotel had everything you could ask for to be 3 stars. All signs and information were only in German. The pillow on the bed was very soft and thin, we asked for two extra pillows. But we got a blanket instead. :) Otherwise everything was good."

"Ein Aufenthalt im Hotel Strengliner Mühle ist ein Erlebnis. Ich war schon mehrmals im Hotel und war jedesmal zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und immer sauber. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, und abends gibt es auch ein gutes Essen im Restaurant. So bald man ins Hotel tritt merkt man die gute Stimmung. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich komme ganz sicher zurück."
