"The property is obviously old and it shows. Expedia told me I can expect a continental breakfast, none were offered and absolutely refused. I booked a superior room and given a room overlooking a metal roof and a crane and was offered to a further upgrade for additional fee of $70 per night."

"We had a great stay here in Katoomba! Great location, 5-10minutes from all the tourist spots and lookouts. Scenic World was amazing! Three Sisters was beautiful! We even went on a foggy morning and could see nothing, but it cleared up in a couple hours so we could see it all. We walked to the little shopping area. This Hotel location was great for our family and we had a huge room the kids were excited about and proud to Facetime the grandparents to show them!"

"This place is ideally located across from the train station and close to shops, and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the shared bathroom cleaned daily. The bed had an electric blanket on it which would be great in winter, though I made use of a lighter blanket that was available instead as I am a hot sleeper.
