"The hotel is comfortable with a lovely pool, bbq area and gardens. Although it is at the top of a steep hill and a 25 minute walk to St. Helier centre, the buses are reliable and run nearby. The hotel’s shuttle bus runs guests down to town in the mornings - but space is limited. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast and evening dining are good."

"Couldn't fault the Biarritz. The location is easily accessible by public transport, the views across the St Brelades Bay are unbelievably fabulous. Staff were helpful, friendly and cheerful. Room had everything we needed, clean and comfortable. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Jersey. Next time we go, I won't bother searching for hotels, I'll book the Biarritz."

"The Norfolk Lodge Hotel was everything we expected it to be. We had a family room with a double bed and bunk beds. The room was quiet and comfortable. We had tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfasts were great. There was a good selection of hot and cold food. They even allowed us to have an early breakfast at 5.30am on the last day, due to an early flight. There was free parking on site. The location was good, and we could walk into St Helier. The hotel was a little dated,...

"My travel to get here was fraught with issues. From the moment I walked in the door to the time I left, everything about the stay here was a treat. Excellent customer service, comfortable room, nice bar and restaurant. "

"Nice and cosy hotel. Comfy room, proper size bathroom. Nice and polite staff. Car park is relatively small and overflowed. Tasty breakfast but poor hot drinks selection. "

"Easy access to regular buses. Very clean, rooms were cleaned every day. Nice dining room for breakfast and comfortable lounge to relax in. I would have liked an occasional choice of cooked breakfast as well as continental.. We enjoyed our stay at the Southwold."

"Property is wonderful and very well located. Light and airy but due to restrictions no hob , only microwave. In summer not a problem as there is a wonderful bbq area with plenty of space. Would highly recommend."

"The hotel is apparently closing soon which is a shame because we loved it. It was a bit quirky and old fashioned but very clean. The staff were superb and very friendly. The bar service and food quality was good. The position was excellent, convenient for the local restaurants and bus station. You can easily reach it by bus from the airport too. We stayed for six nights with friends and we all had a great time."
