"The owner of the hotel Francesca is literally there 24/7. You get anything that you need in a heartbeat. The room is really big, it also had a balcony and a spacious shower room. The lake is very close therefore it is easy to walk or cycle there. We rented the bikes just for €5 for a half day from the hotel. A boat ride to the Island was very enjoyable. "I was able to stay for 3 nights during the Festa dei 3 Cheri, which the hotel is named for. Gubbio is a gorgeous medeival town, but during the festival it comes alive like almost nowhere else in Europe. It is one of the most unique, energizing, ancient celebrations. It unites the community, pays respect to elders, promotes teamwork, and honors a rich independent Umbrian past. The hotel is clean and comfortable great staff, family run.
