"The room was not clean," gulps of hair everywhere,very disgusting" there was hair all over the carpet, no bath mat, no trash cans. Rm was clean the next day but no towels were replaced. Couldn't sit on the sofa because it was lopsided, very uncomfortable.all and all very disappointed. Upon check in front desk clerk wasn't very nice , she didn't even crack a smile, we tried to be nice and converse with her. Very unfriendly. Other than that the other employees were nice."

"This place has true old southern hospitality. The whole town was like that! We visited everywhere. No disappointments. The hotel was magnificent. We just returned from Japan. Hospitality there second to none and the Peabody and Memphis felt the same."

"Clean place, comfortable beds, air conditioner works good. The washer and dryer works works good if you need to use them. No microwave in rooms but there is one in the check-in area to use. There is a menu where you can order/purchase food but that's a hit or miss. We couldn't order it because of "staffing issues". I'm not sure why they have this if a guest can't use it! They have a list of wines but that was a hit n miss as well. Bathroom lighting is very dim, we would have liked it to be...
