"We had a fantastic vacation with our family at the blue water resort. All of the staff members were helpful, upbeat and prompt with service. The pool and ocean views were spectacular along with thoughtfully placed gardens and seating. There were plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels. My 72 year old mom, 6 and 10 year old girls and myself, husband and brother in our early 40’s all enjoyed our trip. The food and drinks were great! Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"The Faraway was a very beautifully appointed Boutique hotel and we loved our stay here. The rooms are small especially if you have large suitcases but very charming and the courtyard is a really fun place to hang out. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Nantucket. The staff were a little unresponsive and often seemed to be unsure how to help. One day our room was not made up despite us being out all day. Otherwise I highly recommend the Faraway, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"The staff was great! We had to check in early because I had to work and the front desk was very accommodating with getting us our room early. The continental breakfast was great, the grounds were very peaceful and quiet, and the location was off the beaten path, on a suede street which I loved! This hotel was just lovely and I will definitely stay there again when I’m in the area!"

"We were able to get a roll away bed to accommodate our family. Very comfortable bed. The young lady who checked us in was very helpful and polite."

L'emplacement de l'hotel est bien, par contre à notre deuxième nuit ils nous ont demandé de quitter l'hotel pour aller vers leur autre hotel plus loin car il y avait un problème d'eau...je comprend ça peut arriver mais ils n'ont pas voulu nous rembourser pour l'inconvénient. Avec un bébé ce n'est pas évident. Puis, il y avait une odeur de nourriture dans notre chambre. Il était difficile de comprendre et de communiquer avec le manager, car son accent était...

"Rooms were dirty, flies entered through a broken sliding door. The pillows and towels need to be replaced. 3 out of 4 pillows stained. even with moving room that did not help."

"Worst experience. I understand small inconveniences. But our lock stopped working, we had to wait outside. Then for 2 hours we’re trying to fix and “investigate” finally moved us 5 minutes before we had to leave for dinner, which was cutting it close. Went back at night and the light and tv in our new room weren’t working. Called again and needed someone to come in a fix it. My husband and I’s alone time was cut very short. Also it is dog friendly hotel which is fine. But I complained about it...

"Our bathroom was very dirty. Stains on the floor and hair in the tub.. pubic hair to be more specific. The floor was so dirty. The staff however was very nice and helpful."

"They were very nice. The room was clean. The lobby and breakfast area were great. The breakfast selection had a wide variety and I appreciated that as a diabetic who cannot have a lot of the high carb selections. My husband DID enjoy the delicious looking muffins/cake slices. "
