"Wonderful staff and facilities."

"Online booking was efficient. Face to face at the reception was friendly. Quiet area. Our car was parked in off street parking. We were fortunate to receive an upgrade to our original booking. The take away pizza from the restaurant was great. All in all our experience of this Hotel and Canberra was excellent and made a memorable time away for us."

"Mercure Canberra is well located, there are nearby options to use the public transportation in the city. The hotel areas need some attention. Breakfast offers a good choice for continental breakfast. The room was spacious and clean, comfortable bed and huge bathroom, however the safety deposit box did not work and I wasted time waiting for someone to fix it which in the end it did not work and could not use it. Overall, Mercure Canberra is a good choice for a short stay or visit."

"Link to the Labor club for meals was excellent. Room lacked any directory on how to operate any items in the room I do not recall seeing the usual instructions at the room entrance in relation to what to do in case of fire. I thought this is mandatory. "

"We liked the price of the stay, our second visit in two years. Enough beds for the kids. We didn't like that there was no toaster or microwave to use and would have liked a few more chairs/table to use as we wanted to play a game together. But over all good. Check out the local George pub, highly recommend for dinner! "
