"Lanjaron is a little tired compared to other towns and villages we visited on our trip. Hotel was clean and tidy, new sealant around the bath required, suite brown (probably lovely in its day) but clean. Bed not great, we could feel the springs popping, not comfy and felt old. Decor plain and old fashioned. The outside was well maintained and a good size pool but we didn’t use. We paid for breakfast which was ok. Value for money, compared to other hotels on our trip, not great. "

"This is an older but very well kept family owned hotel. It doesn’t have any real amenities to speak of. But it was extremely clean and the staff is very accommodating. This small town has plenty of restaurants and bars. A public pool and other things to do. I highly recommend it."

"We spent a wonderful weekend at EL Violin Experiecia, and we are sure we will be returning for longer stay! The hotel has only 3 rooms, therefore ensuring private, calm and relaxing experience. "We stayed for 5 nights on half board for a walking holiday. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and, in particular, the swimming pool in the early evening. The reception staff were highly professional and the restaurant staff were friendly. The evening menu only changes once a week which meant some repetition in our actual selections of food."

"Really lovely place to stay, from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, checking in late was no problem as they have 24 hour reception. The room was clean and well equipped. The shower was great. Air con worked perfectly. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The pool wasn't busy (stayed late May) and the grounds were varied and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again."

"The apartment itself was lovely, very impressive. Clean and well laid out. The only issue I have is that I booked the apartment in part because of the facilities - and no where did it mention that the hotel (and therefore the facilities) were closed! So no bar, no cafe, no pool... Having said that, the apartment really was very nice and we'd stay again."

"The property was a little tricky to find. It needs a satnav for sure, as it is set back off a busy road. At first it takes you to the banquet, conference rooms, which we're totally empty & eerily quiet upon arrival. The hotel is off to the right of this. The hotel itself is overlooking the sea & my room had great sea views. The pool area is nice too. In places it looks a little tired but the room was nice, bed comfortable & area very peaceful. I would stay again"
