"The pool and view are awesome. Sadly, this hotel clearly has slid into disrepair. There were at least 30 mosaic tiles loose on the shower floor--one cut my foot. The walls looked like a 12 year old did the painting--so much paint on the beautiful tiles, ceiling, door trim. Doing a nice job on the paint would have cost almost nothing, so sad! Hundreds of tiny ants crawling around the porch slider. Electricity out both nights. Second night from midnight to after 10 am--so no ac, running...
"It’s a fairly cheap place; it’s right on the beach; and it’s just a few minutes off the pan-American highway. If you are traveling through and need a cheap convenient place to rest your head, this is it. The staff is kind and genuinely want to help you. Breakfast (patacones, fried Panamanian tortilla, eggs, sliced cheese) was included in my room rate - it was surprisingly decent.
That said, you get what you pay for so don’t expect anything fancy. The property is old and quite dated. The...
"What a wonderful place to find out what life on the Pacific coast of Panama is like and what it can be for you.
Brooke and her staff are everything you would want in them. Friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and supportive.
Breakfast is included and is the only meal served daily. Definitely try El Parque restaurant in San Carlos. Delicious and inexpensive.
Being a small lodge on the ocean makes it special.
FYI: No TV, no fridge, no microwave in my room but an awesome ocean view, a...
"the property is gorgeous and the rooms are comfortable and nice. Don't expect a tv in your room, or a refrigerator. It is more like a very nice bed and breakfast. the restaurant was very nice and moderately priced and breakfast, which is included, was also very good. It is about a 10 minute drive to the little main area of the Valle but not bad. The pool was nice enough, but small. The staff is very friendly and helpful."
"First this the Coronado golf club per the sign at the front gate. When security was questioned about if this was the same place he did not know. So my driver followed the map you furnished which took us to the beach. No "hotel". Then called the number furnished by you only to be told Coronado golf club had my reservation. On arrival was immediately told if there is any problem with the building I would have to take it up with the owner, the management was only responsible for front desk and...
"I was told to call 24 hours in advance, and the lady that answered said we did not have a reservation and she spoke very good English, and this was two phone calls one by me and one by my friend who is Panamanian. She said she had not dealt with Hotels.com since Covid, I booked another place not through hotels.com
You refused to publish my review… and that is wrong wrong wrong. Hotels.com should fix the problem!"
"There was no AC in the room. There was a unit but it was not running. I explained this to the staff and they did nothing. The same with the guests next door blaring jazz music all night long. The staff did not even come to the room to address the issue. I was to have had a six night stay but checked out the very next morning. I will not be returning."
"Propert6 well maintained but it didnt feel like a luxury stay at all. There are very few in-room amenities (maybe I missed that in description): no coffeemaker, no iron available at all -literally have to contact housekeeping and they will pickup and iron items for you. Sounds nice but if you're just needing to run a few passes of steam and go, this doesnt work. Also no phone in room to contact front desk or housekeeping. You habe to ise WhatsApp. Furnishings were older (fine but not...
"Nos encantó este hotel de verdad que volvería, desde la atención hasta las habitaciones estuvieron espectaculares, me sentí como en casa de verdad que lo recomiendo bastante y es un lugar hermoso para desconectar ✨"
