"Good"

"There are no useful amenities and the ones advertised aren’t really: the bar is a desk that never seems to be open no draft beer etc. the swimming pool was locked up with a comdnation lock that we were not given the code to on arrival and the nearest pub is 30 minutes away over fields however it was a very nice pub to eat & drink. When we arrived there was no one there and the door to the reception was not opened until 16:00 on the dot by the receptionist who was in there all along."

"Staff were lovely. Check in was good. Although couldn’t book us in any earlier & we were attending an event which was a shame. But no huge issue. Parking superb Bathroom lovely. We stayed in Sariska room which is on the front of the building. Being a Saturday night stay - it was a tad noisey & nothing to do with the hotel. But some car with a loud exhaust drive up & down quite a lot during the early night. We closed the windows to block it out but then as we’ve had this hot weather the room...

"Centennial was a wonderful stop for a solo traveler. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent, and service was great. The rooms and spaces were clean and well furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was a wonderful stay and close to the Cambridge station. It’s about a mile walk to the city center, which isn’t as far as it sounds. "Best Western Heath hotel is a wonderful place to stay, The staff so friendly, cleanliness top standard,breakfast cooked to perfection and a excellent location to see the horses on the gallops and for the lovely town of Newmarket."

"Our room on the second floor was extremely hot - it was a particularly hot week but we were never able to cool it down despite having the fan on. Having to climb about 40 stairs with suitcases for several days' stay was a challenge. Although the house keeping staff did their best to maintain the room and bathroom they were outdated and the bathroom in particular needs updating. "If you're visiting Duxford Imperial War Museum, or Cambridge, you won't find a better place to stay. Cambridge and the Duxford Airfield and Museum are only 30 minutes away, with very light traffic most of the time. The motel-like accommodation is great, clean and modern with everything you need. The staff are very affable, and the food is simple but very good. And of course there's a well-stocked bar. The prices are very keen, and there is a large car park. What more could you want?"
