Lovely hotel in decent location, within easy walking distance from main train station (and actually less than an hours walk from the airport, which I did to burn off breakfast on my return!). "The location is perfect , city centre, close to everything lots of restaurants around ,the view is unbelievable heaven on earth . i wish i took an open balcony on 2nd or 3rd floor so you can sit down and see everything ..my room was on the 4th floor and the balcony was not open other than that everything was perfect.I am in love with lake Como ."

"The Montecodeno is a short walk from the train station and Lake Como. The lobby is at the street level but you have to go outside and up a flight of stairs to access your room. We didn’t mind the walk but it may be difficult if you have mobility issues. Our room was nice but not spacious by American standards (which is typical in Italy). Even though the bathroom and shower were very small, we managed just fine. Everything in our room was very clean. They have daily room cleaning! A very nice...

"This is a good hotel. Spacious room for three with a good shower and aircon. The parking is very handy and a reasonable swimming pool. Breakfast was also good. The staff were welcoming and happy to help - we were late for breakfast but they did not rush us. "

"Close to the cathedral and the lake this is a wonderful spot for easy access to Como. I would have given all 5 stars but 2 more pillows and access to an additional blanket in the room would have been ideal. The temperature in the room was a bit cool for our liking given the recent dip in temperature on our end be night stay. "
