"Good location, and the room was a good size. The staff was attentive. The only problem we had was a clogged sink. And the nights were bad for sleeping because the air conditioning wasn't working; we had to open the window a little because of the heat, which caused mosquitoes to get in and leave us covered in bites."
"The hotel is ideally located, perfect for walking around Ghent. Keep in mind that the cathedral rings the bells from 8:30-8:45am - yes, 15 full minutes, but the rooms seem quite soundproof. It was not an issue for us but maybe something to consider for others"
"The description of the location for this hotel needs to be more specific. Unfortunately we didn’t do our geography homework thoroughly enough😤. This hotel is primarily for business users NOT tourists. It is on a business park on the outskirts of the city with NO public transport less than a 20 minute walk away. Taxi fares added expenses. No restaurant facility for evening meals."
"Do not book this dumpster- it was really horrible. I booked a superior room with two twin beds for my son and I. A young guy took us upstairs to a 3rd floor - steep steps no elevator my son had to carry both suitcases. The room only had one bed. I politely explained that we need two beds and I specifically booked two beds and paid for superior room. The guy was very rude and obnoxious he said he didn’t have any rooms with two beds. I said we want a refund after a little while he magically found...
"Nice stay, I booked a standard room so it didn’t have a luxury feel. I got what I paid for. It didn’t have coffee maker (no lid for the water compartment) and a tea kettle which were great. A few comments, the A/C never really cooled the room despite it being on 18C. They did check on it and got it to blow some cold air but it just took the edge off. Being Europe and a heatwave are also part of it.
Location was great for easy access to everything."
"A nice boutique hotel conveniently located near the train station. Very quiet. Good HVAC system: each room had what appeared to be its own heat pump (or other similar) unit so it should be well equipped to provide comfort on hot summer nights (we couldn't test this: hottest it got in late Sept for us was around +24-25C). Some maintenance issues: fixed right away; bathroom lightbulb not fixed during our stay: leaking sink (small pool of water under sink cabinet), loudly squeaking bathroom...
"Had a great stay with our Grand Kids. Had the large room for 5 people with plenty of space. Enjoyed the pool usage. Easy walking distance to the town center for us. Staff were exceptional to deal with."
"Prima familiekamer. Het bed in de kleinste kamer (2 losse bedden tegen elkaar geschoven) was wel erg zacht. Er was airco in de kamers. We hadden een prima verblijf. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Restaurants in centrum van Ath zijn op loopafstand. Pairi Daiza is met een kwartier rijden te bereiken."
