"The rooms were clean and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were delicious.We specially liked the cosy lounge area where we could have a cup of coffee. Plus I had some sort of alergic reaction to something in the room in this Route Inn and are previous stay at Lake Kagoshima.I dont normally suffer from allergies and I dont have Asthma but as soon as i layed down I got all stuffed up and had issues breathing when trying to sleep. Perhaps its a cleaning product they are using or the contents of the pillows unsure but that has never happened before both places I stayed for 1 night only. it was strange so...

"The staff is very friendly. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap. There is a small refrigerator available; make sure to turn on the dedicated switch to power up the refrigerator. "The house itself is beautiful but all around it is extremely badly taking care of. The yard is a mess, the grass high, and just next to some run down green houses. Some kind of a huge computer was making a terrible noise when we arrived, the owner allow us to turned it off thankfully. Could be a wonderful place to stay "

"Beautiful vista, food was great (strongly recommend doing a dinner reservation AND a breakfast reservation) owner was extremely kind and generous. He spoke better English than I spoke Japanese, which made it extremely easy to meet in the middle. 10/10 experience."

"Staff were great, especially Yoko as she spoke English and was able to help with requests. One source of stress was having to pay in cash if you elect to pay at the accommodation. This should be made clear when booking. We would have happily paid by credit card in advance had it been made clear. No one from overseas carries that kind of cash. The ryokan should be encouraged to adjust their "rule" and take credit cards."

"Beds are super hard was unable to sleep. Plus I had some sort of alergic reaction to something in the room in this Route Inn and are previous stay at Lake Kagoshima.I dont normally suffer from allergies and I dont have Asthma but as soon as i layed down I got all stuffed up and had issues breathing when trying to sleep. Perhaps its a cleaning product they are using or the contents of the pillows unsure but that has never happened before both places I stayed for 1 night only. it was strange so wanted to mention it so they coulf find the cause and redolve the issue. Staff were very good efficient,polite, free breakfasr coupon a nice surprise "
