"Wonderful views from this hilltop hotel, but it's a long, steep walk back from the beaches! We took the hotel bus down to the beach and walked back after spending some time at the port. It's isolated, but there's a free bus from/to Toyohashi Station. The breakfast and dinner buffets are great, and much of the hotel has been recently renovated. Unfortunately they have changed the afternoon times for the onsen so that women have access to their part at 3pm but men from 5pm, which we found...

"Just amazing. Everything is amazing. Customer service was superb 100% Rooms are neat. The photos here don’t bring justice to this place. It’s worth every penny. There’s a pool, too. We stayed with our 4 year old son. They allowed us to borrow some toys and game boards. There’s also bbq grill for rent. The beds were neatly arranged. Kitchen was equipped with utensils. "The hotel is in a nice location near the water, at the end of the train line at Kashikojima. There aren’t many food options in the small village. It seemed very quiet at the hotel and some of the surrounding properties seemed abandoned, so it felt a bit dated and not a popular area anymore. We liked the peace and quiet, but this might not be to everyone’s taste. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were given a large room with plenty of space. "
