"Great location. Near plenty of places to eat. Right off of Interstate 81. We were traveling from SC (headed back to NY. We may decide to use this route going south to bypass crazy traffic in D.C. area. Hotel is new. Rooms comfortable, well appointed. We chose higher floor (additional.$$ worth it)….Due to spring break place was LOADED with kids. Front desk rep said the crowd here was s normally business travelers , which I too was expecting. But it was like school had let out for recess. Trying to get something to eat from continental breakfast offering….impossible. It was total bedlam. Sorry…I realize families travel too, which is why it would be SO great if hotels had a family wing and a non family wing. Still, we’ll mark this Hyatt as one to return to as it was so nice, clean and in a great area. "

"The room was on the 5th floor, and the view of the town was fantastic. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the cleanliness was excellent. The location is perfect for exploring the area and walking to President Wilson's birthplace. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Staunton."

"Breakfast was good, felt more homemade. The rooms are nice and quiet. Shower in room was poorly updated and held water in pan and did not properly drain. Also the king room I was given had no microwave. Apparently only certain rooms have microwaves. Half the channels on the TV didn't come in. "
