"This is a classic Italian hotel. 24-hour front desk (that holds your room key), nice lobby, large well-appointed room with a really nice bathroom, great breakfast buffet on the top floor (with a rooftop terrace). Short walk to the central train station (and then a short train ride to the airport). Dozens of excellent Sardinian restaurants within a few blocks. A similar hotel would cost five times as much in NYC!"

Location was sublime--15 mins walk to Poetto beach, 5 mins walk to a grocery store, lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby, plus near many bus stations as well. One criticism from me is the hotel creaks and have a lot of sounds, i.e neighbour flushing, clanking in vents/walls, etc. I am a heavy sleeper so no issue for me but may pose a problem to light sleepers. "Stayed for a night to catch an early flight. The front desk person was very nice and helpful, she even reserved the restaurant for us. The restaurant is located inside the hotel, so if you don’t want to deal with Cagliari traffic and poor parking, it’s a solution. Overall clean room, no view but we didn’t care. The hotel offers a nice breakfast and also has a restaurant with Pizzeria. We ate there every night as the food was excellent and reasonably priced. "Staff were very god and helpful. It was early in the season and comparatively empty. The restaurant was a bit soul less and the food adequate. We were only there for one night but if not interested in spa treatment, it didn't excite."
