"I enjoyed my stay here. The manager who I believe is the owner was very kind and hospitable. The location is perfect with plenty of on street parking. The hotel is very clean and I felt comfortable. I do t believe in the area you will find any better. This is top of the line for the area although may night be top of the line for American standards. "Breakfast was fine. The only downside to the visit was that there appeared to be temperature controls in the room but they didn't do anything. We asked for help and after a bit of a struggle staff checked and told us the installation wasn't yet complete so the controls wouldn't do anything for about another week. By the time anyone sees this comment the problem should be gone. But 27+ degrees C in the room was uncomfortable."

"The property was fantastic. The staff were fantastic. Working really hard and provided a great stay at basically the only place open on the mountain. But it didn't feel like anything was lacking. Breakfast was great, dinner was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back again to try some of the hiking paths in the area."

"Lovely quaint hotel. Parking area is quite small so recommend a small hire car. I was lucky to get a room with a balcony. Staying on business so no time for sightseeing. Food in restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was good with the offer of cooked food to order."

"4 night stay and as others have mentioned the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was okay if all you need is a bed for the night and are travelling all day. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of town/train station. Has a lovely restaurant next door with views overlooking the lake. "
