"Hotel in an ideal location for centre of town, close to railway station. Ideal to walk to parkrun in 30 mins.
Dog friendly hotel.
Some noise from city centre, but not too bad considering a Friday evening.
Bathroom in need of an upgrade but was spotless and did not detract from pleasant stay.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Carpark monitored on cctv.

"Rooms and corridors VERY dated and in desperate need of painting.
Breakfasts great but dinners not so tasty.
Lovely grounds and communal seating area smart and comfortable.
Shower in room inside bath and it was poor and running hot and cold.
Bed not the worst but certainly not the most comfortable.
All in all a very expensive mistake which will not happen again."
"Good hotel and staff but booked a suite but we did not get a room with a sofa or bed robes. Lift was broken and we were on the top floor. Stayed here before, it is a good hotel and would recommend it"
"Room was very large & clean.
However, the double bed was 2 singles pushed together. Additionally , there was a wheel missing from one corner, which made the bed lopsided, with the mattress overhanging the side. Not at all conducive to a great nights sleep! As the reception is unmanned most of the day we couldn’t even report it!

"Ideal location within the town of Keswick, the staff were brilliant and the breakfast was very good, the room was a good size but the bed was very creaky and it could do with a new mattress.
There is free parking but its made for smaller cars as its really a tight squeeze. Overall we had a great stay."
"Recently refurbished, rooms were clean and fresh and kept the original features of the property. Bathroom was lovely and bath a great size although did miss the option of grabbing a quick shower. Bathroom needs a blind or curtain please otherwise stunning room."

"Loved our stay at the Troutbeck inn! Staff seemed hardworking and very busy but remained friendly and approachable at all times. Our stay was very quiet and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was great and, though I'm never normally a full English person at breakfast, I had one of theirs as my partner's breakfast looked cracking on the first morning (and mine didn't disappoint!)
