"Check in process was unsatisfactory- when attempting to check in @ 6pm was told our room was not ready. When we returned @ 7:30 was told to wait for another hour. We stated we were already told that so our room became available.
Were told restaurant closed @ 8pm even though the flyers in the elevator & restaurant said 9pm. The staff was not happy that we walked in @ 7:55pm. We ordered from the appetizer menu to be considerate. The waitress kept sniffing when taking our order & when delivering...
"The room was very basic just the things you need no frills room was extremely clean! Amd quiet. Staff was very friendly and welcoming . Steak house is decent. Lots of parking "
"Property was convenient to find and to enter. View was nice, and had good excess to the beach. The place cld use a good deep cleaning, it smelled musty, and the shade over sink was filthy."
"Great beds and ocean access., easy keyless entry. Otherwise, this was a 2 star property, cramped and worn, with dangerous stairs. Provided soaps and linens were adequate. The highway noise was quite loud. I realize that some of these things can't easily be changed.
"
"The unit is small for two adults, two children and a dog. It's also a little "tired" and well used. But the walk to the beach and the view from the deck are worth it."
"What a beautiful home!!! We were very comfortable, the home was filled with games and things to do. The hot tub was wonderful. The property was so clean!! Loved it, great girls weekend!"
"Great location overlooking the beach, which has both wide sand stretches and rock formations. But be aware, the gate to stairs down to beach has combination lock on it, so be sure to know it.
There is a lot of road noise early in the morning since condo is located just off road.
Can't imagine sleeping 6 here. There are two queen beds and two mini futons in upstairs bedroom that might serve for children, but not adults.
Kitchen needs to be restocked with a few more items. Pretty sparse on...
"Clean and stocked well. Very cozy. I wished the lighting was better and more up to date ( not fluorescent, dimmable would be great). Also would have liked updated drapes for the windows, but the views were great."
"This is a lovely, restful place that was perfectly suited to our vacation. Very comfortable and spacious for our party of three, we especially enjoyed the amazing balcony view of the Ocean plus the easy and private beach access!
We did have a slight issue with the property but it was resolved quickly with thoughtfulness and to our satisfaction.
We are recommending this place to all our friends and family. Can't wait until our next stay!"
"We loved the view from the property and the property was large and comfortable and and clean and family-friendly. There was information sent via email about how to access the property and contact information of the owners if needed. There were a number of information sheets inside the house with useful information including house rules, a few recommended places to visit, and what to do before leaving."
"The apartment is quite nice. Its adorned in antique style furnishings with updated appliances.
The bed in the 1 bedroom flat is very nice and comfortable and the 2 hid-a-bed sofas in the front room are typical for comfort for the style.
The kitchen is modern, with a beautiful large granite island w/a modern flattop range. The kitchen is FULLY EQUIPPED with just about everything you need to prepare meals, including a nice assortment of spices.
The bathroom is smaller with its own heater...
"The host was sooo welcoming and accommodating! They had made a loaf of freshly baked bread and had some "Happy Anniversary" signs displayed as we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. The house is deceptively spacious as it looks tiny from the outside! We were comfortable and warm and had just the best time. If I could give 10/5 stars I would"
"Cottage 7 was a beautiful upper level place with gorgeous unobstructed views. The decor and useablity of the space was perfection. The beach access was a straight shot from our backyard. Waldport is a small town but Newport is only 30 minutes away. My only negative note would be the kitchen pans and gadgets were sparse if you actually plan on cooking during your stay."
