"Some of the room furnishings appeared a little dated and tired, but it was perfectly adequate, and the room was very large, and the hotel was full of character. The breakfast - 7.30-10.30 daily - was excellent and substantial - everything you could have wanted (apart from a full-English, of course!). The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful."
