"we stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of Jun 2024. PROS: - Very good location. Steps away from the action and attractions and lots of dining and shopping. Faces the canal where all the boats ply. Well designed, spacious and comfy rooms. Staff (especially the front office girl named Nada goes above and beyond tomake you fell welcome not just to the hotel, but also to Aveiro. Nada went out of her way to help us with anything we asked for. A short drive to the beach. CONS: Not easy to get...

"For the price, this property was good. A little tired- but has a cozy feel, like your aunt’s house in Des Moines. There were no frills- a bed, shower, tv and there is no elevator - but it’s only 2 floors. Location is perfect for exploring Aveiro. Drawbacks- it was very cold in our room. "The restaurant is a bit of a scam … there is no price and you end up being charged for things you either didn’t eat or didn’t know was charged … this is very dishonest … never seen that in any other hotel in Portugal during my stay … shady !!!"
