"Building and room access via codes, sent via WhatsApp on the day of arrival. The apartment could have been provided with a kettle. There was no ventilation (working) so the apartment was hot and stuffy, which did not help sleeping, in addition the mattress on the double bed was very uncomfortable. Good location but let down by the shortcomings above."
"The highlight of our 2 day stay was Joseph. He was a five star employee, really positive, helpful and a great ambassador for the hotel. Our 'premier' room was spacious, clean and modern. Everything we needed. We don't like leaving negative reviews but his hotel just lacked any sort of guest interaction (apart from Joseph!). The breakfast time had to be booked and adhered to.. but the offer was really poor. No member of staff present, really basic and no real thought. We choose to stay in this...

"Not on The Camino to Santiago (2 hours on foot from Palas de Rei) but a great stop if you want an idyllic getaway in the middle of your pilgrimage, gorgeous views and facilities, Gourmet food and extremely delicious dishes you will not find anywhere else typical of Galicia. "This hotel is so unique. It’s a place to stay if you are interested in Spanish history and would like to stay somewhere that honors the past. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about the pazo’s history both of the family that owned it and general history of the area. There are quite alot of cats and a few dogs around so it may not be the place for you if you aren’t keen on animals."
"Esta posada me encantó… Portomarín es muy bonito y la ubicación de este hotel es perfecta. Es bastante grande, las habitaciones muuy espaciosa y en general todo estaba muy limpio.
Aunque no lo utilice, habían lavanderías a disposición de los huéspedes y el restaurant estaba bastante bueno.
Frente al hotel hay un parque muy bonito con una iglesia muy bonita."
