"Simple, clean, inexpensive hotel for a one night transition stay is perfect. Quite dated, but quaint. Rooms need more or brighter lighting Lovely lobby with friendly helpful staff. We wanted information on bus tickets to Ceterveri, and this had to be managed in Italian, which I'd expected, but none of them had ever used that bus and had no idea where exactly to get tickets. "this is a cool old hotel... we had a balcony looking out over the black sand beach and could hear the surf all night... it was gorgeous and an easy walk from the train station... also an easy walk to innumerable restaurants and pizza places... "

"Upon checking in, the staff person insisted on seeing passports for both of us even though the reservation was in my name and I submitted mine. My roommate did not bring her passport. The staff person was insistent and rude. Finally, when I said I wanted a refund, she relented and allowed us to register. If this is a requirement they should state it clearly on their website and through Expedia."

For example, you have to pay 25 euros or. day to use the sun chairs at the beach which belongs to the hotel. AND if you want to lay on the grass on sun chairs you have to pay additional 25 euros or. day. Never before did we have to pay to use hotel furniture.
