"The hotel is located 50 minutes from Medellin and you can get there and back with a taxi, each trip is about 50,000 pesos.
They don´t accept credit cards and the hotel cannot be pre-paid through Expedia. I was offered 2 options: pay with a Colombian debit card or with cash, pesos or USD. It was only pure luck that I had enough with cash otherwise they would not have allowed me to check in. Obviously I was very dissapointed with how I was treated. The hotel staff otherwise was fine.
