Posada del Mar
10/10 Excellent
"What a wonderful hotel! It is a very central location and 5 mins walk to the pier - so easy to get to your day trip meeting points quickly. It is also located between 2 delicious restaurants. The staff is nice, friendly, and accommodating. The front desk staff offered great suggestions on where to eat, ordered taxis for us, and provided clean beach towels. The breakfast is a perfect start to the day - just $8 per person. Our junior suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is a mini fridge in the room and a wonderful balcony with a patio table. Highly recommend this place to all travelers."
Galapagos Verde Azul

Hotel La Casa de Judy
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was a great choice. Close enough to walk into town, great views, clean room (including bathroom) and friendly and helpful staff."
Hotel Coloma Galapagos
8/10 Good
"quirky simple hotel. Owner helped us carry the luggage up the stairs. it's on Baltra Ave near more locally owned businesses but close to the Malecon (walkway along the shore) and all the tourist places. Very friendly staff (Sandra & Magali) who cooked a nice breakfast for us every morning. Good reasonably priced seafood meal down the street at the Rustica. We stopped in the Bike shop also down the street about renting E-bikes and received some more restaurant suggestions. People said Buenas Dias to us in the street."
Hostal North Seymour
10/10 Excellent
"Everything at north seymour worked very well, hot water for the shower, plenty of room above on the terrace. We stayed in one of the two upstairs rooms, we had a lot of privacy and felt at home. The Hist is always available and ready to meet your needs. Thank you North Seymour"

What is the difference between a 4-star and 3-star hotel in Santa Cruz Island?
The biggest difference between a 3- and 4-star hotel in Santa Cruz Island is the level of service and access to creature comforts. Three-star hotels are usually more wallet-friendly and offer the services and amenities you need to ensure your comfort, such as breakfast, WiFi and a gym. You can look forward to a little bit more at a 4-star hotel — think upmarket furnishings, luxury toiletries and perks like on-site day spas.
What is the difference between a 3-star hotel and a motel in Santa Cruz Island?
Motels typically offer lower rates than hotels, which makes them ideal if you're traveling around Santa Cruz Island and sticking to a budget. A popular option for overnight stays, these roadside getaways have simply furnished rooms, basic services and on-site parking. Choose a 3-star hotel and you can expect to pay more for additional comfort, privacy and amenities. Guests can take advantage of things like a gym, free WiFi and business services at this style of property.
