"Mauro var en fantastisk värd som tog hand om oss och hjälpte oss på alla tänkbar sätt. Det är en trevlig hus med fantastik trädgård och pool som vi utnyttjade dagligen. Rummen var små men okej men man kunde önska lite mer av frukosten som var enkel. En sak som inge verkar nämna i sina recensioner men som vi fann störande var den närliggande motorvägen som man faktisk kunde höra ganska tydligt på frukost och vid pool om rådet, även inomhus om man inte stängde fönstret."

"We found this to be a comfortable clean hotel with a good restaurant. It’s across the street from the historic center, and is actually very well located although it might not seem so on first impression. The decor feels a lot like an American motel - not much charm. Housekeeping left something to be desired- our first room had no toilet paper and a non working toilet. They couldn’t fix it and didn’t follow up until we asked again. We were moved to a different room, this time with no balcony....

"My wife and I booked through Hotels.com at midday, before arriving at 10pm that night. The Manager had prepared the loungeroom for our stay, with no doors and a fold out sofa bed. Obviously we had booked a private room as advertised as available on their website. The location was quite remote so we agreed at stay. The Manager apologised blaming her failure to check the online booking system , but still charged us full price €70 for a fold out bed in a loungeroom. We were woken up early...

"This hotel is gorgeous! The photos don't do it justice. Everything faces the sea, the rooms, the dining room, the pool and of course the beach. We loved the beach with the chairs and umbrellas overlooking the Aeolian Islands. The beach has fist sized rocks that have been made smooth from the waves. They make a sweet crackling noise as the waves recede. I've never experienced that before. The owner went out of his way to find a relative in Caronia for my traveling partner. She was blown away and I'm sure she will be back. Bring water shoes and Google an app for translation as Caronia isn't your typical resort town. Be sure to message them when you will arrive at the train station and they will nicely come get you. This hotel is a hidden gem!!"
